Dinner for two, and a little Seine magic.

Start with the neighbourhood or interest you most look forward to, then keep the rest flexible.
Look at distances between places and include meals and resting time in the plan.
When preparing to visit, check official opening hours, visitor guidance, accessibility and local transport information.
Give riverside wandering and the performing arts their own space in a Paris itinerary. Build a day around one neighbourhood and one performance, allowing for transport and arrival at the venue.
Along the Seine, connect the Louvre area, the Pont des Arts and views toward the Musée d’Orsay across the river. Montmartre offers a different setting: the hill around Sacré-Cœur, Place du Tertre and Abbesses.
Editorial suggestion: separate the riverside and hill neighbourhood rather than trying to cover both exhaustively in one day. On a performance day, shorten the walk and protect time for a meal and a rest.
RATP distinguishes Metro–Train–RER tickets, Bus–Tram tickets and airport tickets. For an airport journey, check the actual route and whether your chosen ticket covers that airport segment.
Having a ticket is not the whole process. Validate as instructed whenever you enter or board, and at readers during your journey; save a return route before leaving for an evening performance.
A visit to the Palais Garnier explores its public spaces, including the staircase and foyers. Rehearsals can close the auditorium, so building admission does not guarantee a view inside the auditorium or onto the stage.
For ballet or opera, choose the production and then check its actual venue. Paris Opera performances may take place at Palais Garnier, Opéra Bastille or a partner theatre; do not navigate to the most familiar building by default.
For the daytime, we suggest a short walk from the Louvre’s exterior to the Pont des Arts, taking in both banks. If you also want to enter a museum, make that the day’s main visit and reduce the other stops.
Then pause at your accommodation or a meal stop before making a separate journey to the confirmed performance venue. This is an editorial idea, not a claim of availability on a particular date or a packaged product.
Check the production page for running time, intervals, sightlines and accessibility. Late arrival can prevent immediate entry to the auditorium, so allow for the journey and security checks.
Photography, filming and recording during the performance are not permitted. Plan around leaving travel luggage elsewhere, and check the attire guidance for an ordinary performance versus a special gala.
